There used to be an article on the Cornell University web site entitled Atheism – A Bayesian Approach. Given that the paper concluded with: ” …the question of whether a universe with life implies a divine designer — possibly an unknowable,” I always felt that it had been mistitled.
The paper is no longer available through the Cornell site, presumably because the author graduated. For those mathematically inclined, I have retrieved it from a web archive site and made it available here.
