Okay, I’ll try to be the devil’s advocate by being god’s advocate here. (now that’s confusing stuff, really… 😉 )

Either you mean the OT god, or Jesus. For the OT god, according to the bible, he’s warned of disaster a few times, saved a few chosen people, created the world, helped win some battles for his chosen, gave food to the starving, to give some examples.

As for Jesus, he saved a few people with miracles, the whole world through his death, gave food to the starving, so both seem to have done some good things.

Keep in mind, I’m still an agnostic bordering on atheist, so a real Christian may be able to answer better.
