Sure, but that’s something quite different – you know the particle exists, you just cannot determine its position once you determined its speed and vice versa. (A priori, none of them are unknowable, they become so after observation.) AND you know the rules of quantum mechanics, or you can know them. Existence is never in doubt in a rule-based world – in principle, at least, not necessarily in practice.
