On Cause and Effect

Let me say from the beginning that I whole-heartedly agree with the conclusion of the meditation, but I’m just not so sure about one of the assertions that form part of the argument. Specifically: does a cause really have to precede an effect in time? I have to admit I’m not entirely convinced myself, but I can’t help but think that a cause MAY be concurrent with an effect. Worth some thought … I’ll probably write again when I’ve read some more!
