The concept of free will is most interesting in relation to prophecy.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve had a choice, indicating God gave them free will.

The church’s obsession with prophecy, however, would appear to indicate that God can see the future, and hence everything is preordained – in which case, we are not free to make a free choice in accepting or denying God.

That puts faith in a bit of a quandary. You can’t have it both ways.
