Sure – about as much as you respect my lack of a holy book and my absence of a need for one.

“Respect my religion”, you demand.

Sure – about as much as you respect my lack of a religion and my absence of a need for one.

Respect isn’t demanded. Respect is earned, and it goes both ways.
