Rubio corrects himself

Having generated a lot of laughter at himself for stating he did not know how old the Earth was, Senator Marco Rubio has reversed himself. He now states that he knows the Earth was created 4.5 billion years ago by God. (He did not mention that God must have taken a non-biblical 9 billion year long rest day after creating the Universe)
And about his previous comments? He says “I was referring to a theological debate.” I suppose that explains why he opened with “I’m not a scientist” and made no mention of theology.
