– ah yes, the “ineffable” plan.
You haven’t been reading “Good Omens” by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, have you? Well worth a read. It hinges on the supposition that while the agents of God and the Devil are conversant with “God’s Plan”, they are not party to the “Ineffable Plan”.
