The “proof”

  1. contradicts itself,
  2. commits the fallacy of composition/division, and
  3. ignores empirical fact.

Specifically:

  1. If energy can neither be created nor destroyed, then it cannot have a beginning (be created) nor be “used up” (have an end).
  2. The conservation of “mass and energy,” (even as a matter of a priori logic) allows that even if the total amount of energy (or mass) were not infinite, the two combined might be (especially by the one being transformed into the other).
  3. The transformaton of mass and energy [E=mC2] is a demonstrated empirical fact.
