Daniel – I’m not sure what you mean by a debate on the existence of God being meaningless “cosmologically speaking”, but if your agnosticism helps dispel “that unhappy mixture of insanity and ignorance called ‘faith'” (to quote Robert Ingersoll), then it will have been extremely worthwhile.
