While I would agree that intelligence, like many other human characteristics, probably shows a bell curve distribution, I am uncomfortable with the idea that Herrnstern and Murray’s book captures the concept.
While there is a correlation between measured IQ and academic achievement, I don’t think IQ really captures human intelligence in all its dimensions.
