You misinterpreted my reason for writing

Actually, I am fairly conservative and an atheist. I was doing research on the subject on union dues and I found your website.

I guess I am really tired of the government telling me what II must pay, ie: health care, taxes, association dues…….blah, blah, blah. I would rather pay money to someone or something, than to an association that I do not support. As an American, I feel I am giving up more and more or my rights and living in a socialist nation.
