I am so pleased to see an article on the Precepts of Buddhism published here. As one who has been studying the dogma and practices of religions, I have begun to understand that Buddhism is unlike the other major world religions in that it does not worship a deity. It is more a philosophy and approach to living a beneficial life.

I believe that following Buddhism does not conflict with my basic agnostic orientation since it does not demand that I accept anything based on ‘Faith’ alone.
