Good on you!
The problem is not people like your good self, but the fundamentalists who try to foist their dogma on others.
I have a very good friend who is the Vicar of Wargrave (a Canon). We have many theological discussions, but respect each other’s position. I have asked him why no-one has thought of producing a precis of Jesus’ teachings, which as a philosophy for life are a good blueprint. He told me that Jesus’ teachings HAD to be seen in the context of His life. I disagree. I would be interested in your opinion.
