Mr De Lucchi says,

“Now if they are right with the astronomy and mathematical calculations, why would their “historical” accounts be rated as unbelievable myth? Why would they throw all their attention to detail away and “create” such “rubbish”? Are we not being just a bit foolish here?”

He appears to be giving equal credence to Norse myth, the pantheon of Greek gods, the creation story and accounts of his God.

I agree totally, however, that all knowledge builds on previous knowledge. Wasn’t it Newton who said, “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”?
