Why is accepting the supposed truth of the bible more important in god’s eyes than doing good works? By living an ethical life, you are almost good enough to go to heaven, while the most hardened of criminals can find god, repent and be rewarded forever?
A god who is that egotistical is not one that I would be willing to honour.
