Mr. Delucchi;

“…the evolutionist sort of bypass this [domino effect] and begins his argument a few blocks down the road after the ‘big-bang.'”

Not necessarily. There’s no saying that a Big Bang had to initiated by God, that is, an omnipotent, omnipresent entity. If there was indeed a first moment at which our universe first came into being — some people believe that time is instead infinite in both directions, or cyclical, and that there could have been universes in existence before ours — there’s no saying that the supposed “First Mover” has to fit your definition of God, or any god. Who is to say it was/is even a conscious entity?

But you’re right, evolutionists do in fact focus on the evolution of life here on Earth because that is what we have clear evidence of, and affects us, as an evolved species with in a very precarious balance with the rest of the environment, very directly. Speculating about the cause of the universe is all just so much guesswork anyway, so bringing your God into the matter doesn’t really become the crux of your argument for creationism after all. God is just one of many possibilities we have created for ourselves.
