Well Hugh; your opinion is appreciated.

I still maintain the onus is not on me to “prove” the existence of God. I also do not ask you to “prove” evolution to me, we all are now, whether grudgingly or understandably aware of the role “evolution” does play in nature. I am sure you have heard of the domino effect which most catholic apologists fall back to when cornered by the evolution/creationist stalemate, where the entire existence had to start somewhere and something had to have been there to “kick-start” the entire road-show.

Now this is the crux, the pivot from which a creationist cannot ignore, whereas the evolutionist sort of bypass this and begins his argument a few blocks down the road after the “big-bang”. Look, to simplify: this 6 day creation thing does not fit, I think it was just a way of explaining to a very young people in the dawn of creation the order of creation, Adam represents man, simple and then religion deals with the FALL OF MAN, it cares not what else climbed out of the cosmic glue, it matters not that on some isolated plateau in the middle of the Amazon Jungle there are plants that can survive no-where else or whether western Australia has isolated and strange animal and plant life, these are the natural consequences of the nature of life. Back to square one the entire thrust of religion is about MAN and his place within the cosmos, it is about MAN and his relationship with GOD who is the ONE who kick-started this road-show we call life!
